"I first reached out to Chloe when I found out I was going to become a dad for the first time. I knew I definitely had some unresolved issues with my parents/family from a difficult upbringing and wanted to make sure I wasn't going to pass any of my trauma onto my beautiful new baby girl. Right from the start Chloe was amazing at creating a safe, non-judgemental space where I felt I could really open up and be honest and most importantly, vulnerable for the first time with someone who wasn't my wife.

 

Across the course of the therapy I feel I really got to know myself a lot better, I became a lot more self-compassionate and my confidence in my ability as a dad really improved. Chloe really puts a lot of time into fostering a good relationship and is really easy to talk to and share with. I came in thinking that EMDR was just some sort of one trick pony where you move your eyes about and "complete" your traumatic memories and bang your fixed! But Chloe showed me it is so much more than that, her approach is so holistic and I left with so many more tools to regulate and explore my thoughts and emotions than I have ever had.

 

I can honestly say that the 6 months I spent with Chloe as my therapist has done more for my mental health than the combined 2 years of therapy across 3 different therapists that I have had before. For the first time I feel really in control of myself and able to react positively to anything life throws at me. I would 100% recommend Chloe to anybody looking to address trauma in their life but especially to anybody who is thinking of/becoming a parent soon, it is so worth it and your kids will thank you for it in 20 years!"
